This cute little pub, Bronte, should be jumping through hoops if it's inherited the genes of its parents.
For its mum Kitty, whose Kennel Club show name is Blerio Boudicca, is a multi championship prize winner while the stud Philip, which shows under the name of Philipp Aus der Neuen Alauffstrasse, is a British champion.
The German Shepherds have been bred by dog breeder Bill Owen, of Bamber Bridge, who has been breeding them for 30 years and won many awards.
Bill said: "It's a passion of mine. I have been doing it for 30 years mainly for the shows though some go to families as pets.
"They are great dogs and have a superb character. Out of the litter I have three which I have kept to show and Kitty is going to Crufts.
"Philip is a British Champion which means he had to win three separate challenge certificates at three shows under three different judges so it is no mean feat."
Nicola McGovern, of Hoghton, who bought her puppy Bronte from Bill, said: "Bill has a reputation for being a good breeder.
"Bronte is adorable and has a great characteristics. We take her to puppy training and a child stroked Bronte on the head and she loved it. She is so playful.
"She is a pedigree and I will certainly do some agility competitions with her."
