Ribble Avenue, Darwen
A CAR caught fire on a driveway earlier today.
Fire crews were called to Ribble Avenue, Darwen, shortly after 8pm today.
No one was reported injured. Crews said the cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
A fire spokesman said: "One fire engine and crew was assigned to a car fire.
"The car was on a driveway and firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish a smouldering fire in the engine compartment. There were no casualties. The cause of the fire is to be determined."
