THIS is the stunning view from the top of Hoghton Tower's Gatehouse.
The Lancashire Telegraph was given a special invitation to view the area from the turrets of the historic home's entrance, which is not accessible to the public.
Pendle Hill, Winter Hill, Preston and even the Welsh hills can be seen from this vantage point on a clear day.
