CLITHEROE ultimate fighter Michael The Count' Bisping has asked for a rematch with his last opponent - despite winning the fight.

Although Bisping beat Matt The Hammer' Hamill at the O2 Arena last Saturday (sept 8)- taking his mixed martial arts undefeated streak to 16 wins - there has been criticism about his victory.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship match lasted the full three rounds and judges awarded the win to the Brit, with two of the three judges saying he clearly won the second and third rounds.

But some critics have said the American's hand should have been raised at the end of the fight.

In a bid to settle the dispute, Bisping, who won the Ultimate Fighter reality TV show and a $1million contract with UFC last year, has asked UFC bosses for another chance to face Hamill inside the 6ft Octagon steel cage.

Bisping, pictured above, said: "I am up for a re-match and I have told UFC that. I won the last two rounds of that fight but I am a lot better than what I showed.

"I would like to do it again - as soon as possible - and hopefully finish him so it doesn't go to the judges.

"I am waiting now for them to contact my manager and we will take it from there. I look forward to settling the score once and for all."

The feud between Bisping and Hamill began when they were both on the Ultimate Fighter series.
