TWO cousins used a stolen taxi to try and get cash for their "raging drug habits" a court was told.
Matthew Dwyer, 23, and Michael Dwyer, 24, were sharing a house, Burnley magistrates heard.
Matthew Dwyer had picked up his co-defendant in the stolen Avensis.
Both were subject to supervision, drug rehabilitation orders and curfews at the time.
Matthew Dwyer, of Larch Street, Nelson, admitted taking a vehicle without consent, and having no insurance and no licence.
Michael Dwyer, of the same address, pleaded guilty to being carried in a vehicle taken without consent.
Both were jailed for 90. Matthew Dwyer was also banned from driving for six months.
