Lorry driver FINED for eating his lunch of hard shoulder of M65
A LORRY driver was fined after police found him eating his lunch on the hard shoulder of the M65.
Lancashire Tactical Operations Team tweeted that they had found the driver of the HGV parked at the entry slip road at junction six of the M65.
A spokesperson said: "He was eating his lunch and his driving hours had run out.
"It would have been much better and cheaper for him to park up somewhere safer and not on the motorway network. A fixed penalty notice was issued."
