A NEW classic car and motorcycle show is coming to East Lancashire.
The Stonyhurst Classic Car and Motorcycle Show takes place on Sunday August 12.
The show will replace the previous Classic Shows’ event at Hoghton Tower and is set to take place on the front lawns of Stonyhurst College.
Offering a spectacular day of motoring heritage ideal for enthusiasts, day trippers and families the event will feature an exciting display of vintage, classic and modern classic vehicles displayed
on the basis of age (pre-60s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90 – 03) and type (sports and convertibles, kit, custom and replica, American and electric vehicles).
Expect to also see a variety of club stands from the likes of the Jaguar Enthusiasts, MR2 Drivers Club, Stag OC North Lancs, Lancashire Capri Club, Fords & Friends and many more.
In addition to the vehicle display, a full vehicle concours will be featured overseen by leading commentator and radio presenter Mark Stone.
Awards will be presented for a range of categories and culminating in the Pride of Ownership, Club of the Show and Car of the Show awards.
Each participating vehicle exhibitor will also receive a complementary commemorative plaque.
