A ROW with his mum ended with a man putting his foot through her oven door.

Blackburn magistrates heard George Johnson was drunk and didn't even know what the argument was about.

Johnson, 20, of Royal Walk, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was fined £250 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Richard Prew, defending, said his client had lashed out but the violence had not been directed at his mum.

"It was an inanimate object and he has since given his mum £200 to pay for the damage," said Mr Prew. "He is still living at home."
