A MAN stopped on the M65 at 5.55 am because his MOT had expired was found to be over the drink drive limit.
Alasdair Karl Grishakov, 28, of Ashworth Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty at Blackburn magistrates to driving with excess alcohol and without an MOT. He was disqualified for 16 months, fined £170 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Grishakov said he had friends round and there was an altercation.
"I was a bit hot headed and left," he told the court. "In hindsight I should probably have gone for a walk."
