BLACKBURN-born actress Wendi Peters will star in the musical Salad Days when it comes to the Lowry, Salford Quays, next month.
Former Coronation Street favourite Wendi, who played Cilla in the top TV soap, will have two roles in the musical - Lady Raeburn and Aunt Prue.
The show tells the story of recent graduates Timothy and Jan who, unhappy with their pushy parents, decide to get jobs and take on the responsibility of looking after a piano in a park with magical results.
Wendi Peters has had a string of musical successes including White Christmas, Oh What a Lovely War and Wonderland.
