A CAR crashed into the back of another vehicle on a town centre road.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a silver VW Golf and yellow Ford Fiesta on Union Road, at the junction of Stone Bridge Lane, shortly before 1.30pm today.
No-one has been reported injured or taken to hospital, a police spokesman said.
Firefighters ensured there were no remaining hazards in respect of fire, spilled fuel or oil, or debris.
A fire service spokesman said: "Two fire engines and crews from Hyndburn responded to a two-car road traffic collision on Union Road, Oswaldtwistle. No-one was trapped."
