THIS advert from the Lancashire Telegraph in April 1963 looked to help provide the latest technology to those needing help with hearing.
An exhibition was being held in Blackburn to advertise the newly released 'Wisp-ear' hearing aid.
It was advertised as 'the smallest hearing aid in the world', aiming to fit nicely in the ear of those who need it with minimum fuss.
Advertisers claimed it could help seven out of 10 people who suffered from hearing losses.
If anyone was interested all they had to do was visit an exhibition at Y.M.C.A in Limbrick, Blackburn which was being held later that week. Not only that, hearing aid repairs would also be on offer.
