POLICE are asking for the public's help in identifying a man as part of an ongoing investigation into the production of cannabis.

Lancashire Police posted on their Facebook, calling on people to find out who he is in connection with the drug production in Merseyside.

It read: "Following community intelligence a warrant was executed at an address on Roe Greave Road, Oswaldtwistle in February where a large number of cannabis plants valued in the region of £80,000 were recovered.

"Further enquiries identified an address in Bootle, Merseyside and on March 20th police raided a house on Webster Avenue.

"Five Vietnamese nationals were arrested and items linked to cannabis production and fraudulent documentation recovered. It is believed that the man pictured has connections to that address.

"On the same day (March 20th) a man and a woman were arrested after officers stopped a car travelling on the M6 in Cumbria. A holdall containing £75,000 cash was recovered from the vehicle.

"In addition, a further nine properties in Merseyside and Greater Manchester were raided and further evidence of cannabis production recovered.

"Most recently on Wednesday (July 4th), an address on Skeffington Road, Preston was raided and a haul of cannabis worth approximately £50,000 was recovered.

"A total of 15 people have now been charged with conspiring to produce cannabis and money laundering in connection with the investigation, codenamed Operation Renard.
