THE family of a three-year-old girl battling a rare form of cancer will be able to take her on a dream holiday thanks to a donation from a stranger.

Chloe Mullan, from Accrington, was diagnosed with a cancer affecting her skull at the start of this year and had to have a Hickman line inserted when it was revealed she had JXG (juvenile xanthogranuloma).

Earlier this month her family set up an online fundraising page looking to raise £2,000 to fund a family holiday to give her a break from her strenuous treatment schedule.

The money is also being used to enable her to get a wetsuit enabling her to swim with her condition.

Now they have passed their target thanks to a £1,100 donation from a Mark Clarkson.

The family have thanked the mystery man and are keen to meet up with him to say thank you for his donation.

Mum Sarah Broad said: “I’m emotional and overwhelmed that I can take us all on a well-deserved holiday.

“We don’t know Mark at all, we just saw he donated £1,100.”

Chloe has endured months of chemotherapy and is now having to travel with her family to London weekly for new treatment.

She also has a stepsister Cody, 13, sister Caitlyn,10, and baby brother Lucas who is four months old and will be going on the holiday with mum and dad, Martin. The family are now choosing the destination.
