TWO people were rescued from the roof of a house after a tumble dryer fire last night.
Three engines from Clitheroe and Great Harwood attended the scene at Derby Street in Clitheroe at about 11pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and rescued two people from the roof of the property."
Nobody was injured.
