A RESIDENT at supported accommodation in Clitheroe trashed her room because ‘things had got too much’ for her.
Blackburn magistrates heard when police arrived at The Sidings on Castle View Tegan Phillips resisted arrest, lashing out at the officer.
Phillips, 19, pleaded guilty to criminal damage and resisting a police officer. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
Andy Robinson, prosecuting, said a member of staff found the door to Phillips’ room had been damaged and other items inside.
Mark Williams, defending, said his client was ‘troubled’.
