ARMED police officers surrounded a house after reports of men 'with a shotgun and a machete' going into a house.
The officers were called to Whalley New Road in Blackburn at 1am after two men were seen going inside a home.
The road was closed off and armed officers were seen surrounding a house.
A police spokesman said: "Two men had been seen going into a house on Whalley New Road, one with a machete and one with a shotgun.
"Armed police attended and the address was searched but nothing found."
