EAST Lancashire is set to bask in sunshine today as the final day of Blackburn's Festival of Making gets underway.
Revellers can rest assured that the weather will be good as they make their way to the festival, as conditions are set to stay dry and bright over the coming days.
The Met Office has predicted that temperatures as high as 16 degrees are to be expected today with light winds and blue skies throughout the afternoon.
Moving into Monday and temperatures are set to rise even higher with highs of 17 degrees expected across the county.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Conditions are expected to soon brighten up this morning, with any remaining overnight patchy rain quickly clearing to the northeast.
“A dry day is expected with light winds and increasing amounts of warm sunshine, especially in the west.”
Later next week the Met Office predict we will see a drop in temperatures, with cloud cover taking a hold and showers possible.
Not to worry though as the sun is set to return for next weekend, with yet another fabulous weekend of sunshine and blue skies predicted.
