LANCASHIRE County Council is holding several events celebrating Foster Care Fortnight.
The UK’s biggest foster care awareness raising campaign, it runs from Monday 14 May to Sunday 27 May.
The events include: May 17 from 9.30am to 4pm at Charter Walk Shopping Centre in Burnley; May 18 from 10am to 3pm in Sainsbury's, Active Way, Burnley; May 25 from 10am to 4pm: in St Peter's Heath Care Centre, Church St, Burnley ; and on May 25 and 26 May from 10am to 3pm at Tesco Extra, Centenary Way, Burnley.
A drop-in information evening will be held on May 17 from 6pm to 7.30pm in Burnley Library on Grimshaw Street.
County Councillor Susie Charles, Lancashire County Council's cabinet member for young people, said: "We are pleased to take part in this great campaign which showcases the commitment, passion and dedication of carers who are proud to foster.
" We are always looking for new foster carers."
