SYRIAN refugee families living in East Lancashire were taken bowling for the first time by the Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale Council for Voluntary Service (BPRCVS)
The families visited the MFA Bowling alley in Burnley.
A BPRCVS spokesman said: "All the refugees really enjoyed it and did really well given that it was their first ever time playing 10-pin bowling.
"After bowling for a couple of hours we showed the Syrian children how to play some of the other arcade games that were in the facility.
"It was good fun watching the children play games and have a fun filled afternoon."
