A PRINTMAKING workshop will be held in an art gallery next month.
Local artist Alan Birch is offering people the opportunity to participate in an intaglio printmaking workshop in Rawtenstall.
Intaglio printing is a process whereby ink is pushed into the lines of an engraved block and transferred to the paper using pressure applied by a press.
During the three-hour workshop, participants will be introduced to Alan’s work and will then produce their own drawings.
It will take place at The Whitaker Museum and Art Gallery in Rawtenstall on Saturday, May 26. Tickets cost £10 per person with all materials included.
