RIBBLE Valley MP Nigel Evans has said there is ‘no surprise’ that his constituency has been selected among the Best Places to Live in Britain by The Sunday Times
He said: “We undoubtedly have some of the most magnificent scenery of anywhere in the UK.
“A stone’s throw from Clitheroe town centre is the Forest of Bowland, which is the very centre of Britain.
“We have some of the most outstanding restaurants, independent businesses and pubs.”
“As alluded to in the Times’ list, what really sets the Ribble Valley apart is the sense of community you get when you visit every town, village or hamlet, each of which has its own unique identity and character.
“From Chipping on one side to Tosside on the edge of Yorkshire, the Ribble Valley offers heritage, history and charm.
“I am proud to call the Ribble Valley my home.”
