A MAN with health issues missing from Scotland may have travelled to Burnley, detectives have said.

Police said they are growing 'increasingly concerned' for Frank Newsome, 64.

He was last seen at Dykebar Hospital in Paisley at around 10am today.

He is described as white, 5ft 5ins, of slim build with grey hair, a full beard and glasses.

When he was last seen he was wearing a grey jumper and dark trousers.

Sergeant Scott Clark, of Paisley police office, said:“We are growing increasingly concerned for Frank who has been suffering from a number of health issues recently.

"Frank has went missing before although was found in Paisley.

"We want to make sure he is safe and well."

“We have reason to believe that he may try to travel to Spain, or Burnley in Lancashire.

"However we would ask anyone in the Paisley area to think back, have you seen anyone matching his description?

“I would ask members of the public to contact police if they have seen him or know where he is.”
