A man has been charged in connection with a burglary at a convenience store last month.

Police were called to reports of a break-in at the Premier Mini-Mart on Burnley Road East, Waterfoot, just after 4.15am on Tuesday, February 27.

He is due to appear at Burnley Crown Court on April 6.

PC Rick Whalley of Burnley Police, said: “Our investigation into the burglary is ongoing and we’d appeal to anyone with information to please come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 01254 353862 or 101 quoting log number 141 of the February 27.
