A 42 year old man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates after allegedly threatening a pizza takeaway owner with a Samurai sword.
Shazad Rahman, 42, of Montague Street, Brierfield, was sent in custody to Burnley crown court charged with possessing a sword in Hudson Street and using threatening behaviour towards Naseem Ali.
Rahman pleaded not guilty to both charges and will appear before the Crown Court on March 22.
