A MAN has been taken to hospital after a car overturned this evening.
Emergency Services were called to Chester Street, Blackburn, at about 6.15pm.
Police said the Ford Escort collided with a 'traffic calming' measure.
The man has been taken to Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital as a precaution but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
Chester Street is temporarily closed while recovery arrive at the scene but is expected to re-open shortly.
A police spokesman said: "We were called after a Ford Escort collided with traffic calming measures.
"A man has been taken to hospital as a precaution but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
"The road is temporarily closed while recovery arrives at the scene."
Crews from Blackburn also attended the incident.
Blackburn Fire Station tweeted: "White Watch in attendance at an RTC car overturned on Chester St. Road temporarily closed."
