A PRINCIPAL has praised pupils who have been offered a place at Oxford or Cambridge universities.

Three of the Darwen Aldridge Community Academy’s students have been offered places at Oxford Colleges to read art, biomedical sciences, and medicine, whilst the fourth holds an offer from Cambridge to study architecture.

DACA Principal Lisa Dolan said: “We are very proud of the records of our sixth formers in attracting offers from top universities every year.

"It’s a great testament to their hard work and a recognition of the reputation the DACA Sixth Form has built with universities around the country, including Oxford and Cambridge Colleges.”
