OFFICES around the UK will be admiring this stunning photograph of a Rossendale company’s delivery truck on a windswept moor.

The distinctive yellow and black livery of the articulated lorry owned by Bacup-based kitchen, bedroom and bathroom manufacturer J and J Ormerod, JJO, shines out on the latest Scania 2018 calendar.

The image, taken by Bryan Winstanley Photography Ltd, shows a JJO artic on a moorland route with picturesque Pendle Hill in the background and it features as the image for March.

Transport Manager Dave Tomlinson, himself a keen photographer, said: “This is a fantastic picture and I love the way Brian has captured the movement in the trees with the instantly recognisable Pendle Hill in the background.

“Scania has distributed copies of the calendar to customers across the country so our company’s distinctive livery will be on the walls of transport offices countrywide.

“We are very proud to have been selected to feature within the Scania 2018 calendar.

“We purchase Scania as they are extremely reliable and fuel efficient. We replace the vehicles every five years to keep the fleet modern ensuring our kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms arrive on time, every time.

“I only wish I had taken the photograph myself.”
