THREE awards came along at once for the Blackburn Bus Company at parent company Transdev's annual awards.
Its Engineering Support Unit team, based at Intack, won the Team of the Year title at the ceremony this week at at the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford.
The team provides support for all six of Trandev's depots across Lancashire and Yorkshire, responding quickly to get buses back on the road after major accident damage or breakdowns.
Long-serving Blackburn staff member Pete Johnson was receiving the Engineer of the Year award.
Blackburn bus driver Moshin Malek won the ‘Green Road Champion’ award for his smooth, safe and economical driving.
Tuesday's ceremony was co-hosted by comedian and broadcaster Paul Sinha from ITV’s hit game show ‘The Chase’, and BBC North West Tonight TV and radio presenter Dianne Oxberry.
