A NEW support service has been launched for children and young people.

Reducing Aggression Harm (RAH) provides support to children and young people in Pendle who are illustrating harmful behaviour towards others such as parents, siblings, peers, boyfriends, girlfriends or wider community.

The service will be provided by Positive Action in the Community (PAC).

PAC also manages Domestic Abuse services for families in Pendle and homelessness services for young people in Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale.

A spokesman for RAH said there had been great demand for the service which, until now, PAC could not fund.

"As a Domestic Abuse provider PAC have been approached on numerous occasions to provide this work but the charity has not been in a position to do so until now due to restricted funding.

To make a referral or to find out more about the support available please contact the team on 01282 726001."
