ACCRINGTON Stanley have completed the signing of striker Akeel Francis.
The teenager joins the Reds having been released by League One side Rotherham United last month.
The frontman is available for Saturday's League Two trip to Cheltenham Town and joins having spent 10 days on trial at the Wham Stadium.
And Stanley boss John Coleman has been pleased with what he is seen from the 18-year-old.
He said: "Akeel has been training with us for 10 days and he has impressed."
Francis joined Rotherham as an eight-year-old and progressed through the ranks with the Millers but did not make a first team appearance.
He signed a six-month contract with the club last summer but that was not renewed when it expired in December.
