A PARALYMPICS medal winner will be opening a winter wonderland special will be held in a town centre this weekend.
Rawtenstall's Winter Wonderland, an annual festival event which is held in the town centre,will include live entertainment, celebrity appearances and Disney characters .
Rio Paralympics silver medal winner Tom Hamer, who will be opening the event, and will be with us till 1pm before he has to rush of to the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year awards.
Attendees will be able to meet, greet and have a photo opportunity with Disney characters Elsa & Kristoff from Frozen, Cinderella and Belle from Beauty and The Beast all characters, who will be there all day.
Festive drinks and snacks will be available to purchase including Mulled wine, hot chocolate, mince pies
It will take place at St Mary’s Chambers, Haslingden Road, Rawtenstall on Saturday.
Doors will open at 12pm and the event will end at 6pm.
Entry fee is £6 per adult and £4 per child.
