TODAY’s delve into the Lancashire Telegraph archives has unearthed this photograph which will bring memories back for many readers.
Taken in 1962 it shows the centre of Mill Hill in Blackburn and is a classic view of how many towns in East Lancashire looked over 50 years ago.
The small independent retailers, the cobbled street and - perhaps most noticeably - the lack of traffic all hark back to a different era.
And yet, for those who know Mill Hill, very little has actually changed.
