AN app based transport provider running two buses to Grassington Dickensian Christmas Festival will pick up passengers in East Lancashire.

VAMOOZ will be running two buses to the festival on December 2, picking up in Burnley, Nelson, Colne and Barnoldswick.

The service, run by Transdev Blazefield, will allow users to request and pay for their trip via the app.

Tickets can also be purchased from Burnley Bus Station for a fixed price of £12.50 return or, customers who purchase tickets via the app, could pay less if more people sign up to the trip.

Customers living away from the route will be able to travel to a VAMOOZ pick up location via any bus service run by Burnley Bus Company, which is run by Transdev Blazefield.

VAMOOZ manager Rebecca Reeve-Burnett said: “The Grassington Dickensian Festival is one of the highlights of the Christmas season and we’re pleased to be able to offer people a direct service.

"New VAMOOZ app customers will also get £5 off their first trip so with this great offer, we’re sure it’s the cheapest way to get there too!”
