AN elderly man was taken to hospital after coming into collision with car earlier this evening.
North Valley Road in Colne was closed for several hours after the incident at 6.20pm with diversions in place.
Inspector Duncan Arthur of Lancashire Police said: "A 65-year-old man came into collision with a silver Peugot 308 on North Valley Road in Colne at 6.20pm this evening.
"He suffered a head injury and was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital."
