Police called following van theft
A VAN has been stolen from the driveway of a property.
Officers were called to The Kilns in Burnley at around 3.30am after the owner discovered the white Renault Kangoo van was missing.
Police said the thieves had smashed the window of a silver Citroen Berlingo also parked on the driveway. so they could release the handbrake and rolled it onto the street to access the van.
Officers said the thieves then crashed the Kangoo into a neighbours car in their bid to drive off.
A police spokesman said the van, registration PF63DTY, has not been recovered.
