A WAR story will be performed
Darwen Aldridge Community Academy will host Brothers in Arms, a multi media event featuring film, music, drama and readings presented by St Barnabas Church.
The performance will tell the the story of Noel and Christopher Chavasse, highly decorated soldiers who served with great distinction in the trenches of World War One.
After the performance Parish Mission Support Department Leader for Blackburn Diocese David Banbury will give a talk entitled 'faith under fire' during which he will talk about his own recent active service and the challenges he faced.
The event will be performed at 7pm on November 15. Tickets will be priced at £2.50 for adults and are free for children.
The performance is suitable for children over 11 years of age.
