THE roof of a derelict mill caught fire.
Firefighters were called to St James Road in Church at 8pm, yesterday.
A fire service spokesman said two hose reels were used to put out the fire and lighting equipment was used as visibility was poor.
He said: "Crews were on the scene for approximately one hour."
No one was inside the mill at the time and the cause of the fire is unknown.
