JUDGES at the O2 Media Awards 2017 hailed the Lancashire Telegraph as one of the best daily newspapers in the North West.

The paper, which covers the biggest and best stories across East Lancashire online and in print, was highly commended at the prestigious industry awards.

The Telegraph’s very own Clarets reporter, Tyrone Marshall was also crowned print sports reporter of the year for his coverage of Burnley FC’s Premier league campaigns.

At the glitzy ceremony at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, the Telegraph’s sister paper Asian Image was named community publication of the year.

The paper’s editor Shuiab Khan was at the ceremony to collect the award.
