THE number of complaints about anti-social behaviour in Rossendale has increased, police said.
Rossendale Police said there had been an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour involving two groups of teenagers in the last two weeks in Whitworth.
PCSO Heidi Kirkbright has identified around 15 youths all of whom have been spoken to, with their parents being very supportive with measures to prevent the poor behaviour continuing.
A police spokesman said: "Hopefully this will go some way to nipping things in the bud while accepting that youths will gather together which in itself shouldn't be an issue. "
