ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman admitted he was happy to be in the hat for tonight's FA Cup second round draw after a battling 0-0 draw at non-league Guiseley.

The Reds drew 0-0 with the National League outfit at Nethermoor Park on Sunday and face a replay at the Wham Stadium on Tuesday week.

Coleman's side, second in League Two, will again be favourites for that clash but the Reds chief knows it will be another tough battle against the Lions.

"It is no foregone conclusion that we're going to win the replay and if anyone thinks we are they could be in for a rude awakening," said Coleman after the weekend stalemate.

"I have got to congratulate Guiseley, they stuck to their gameplan really well and their gameplan was more effective than ours. They made more chances, our keeper made four saves and their keeper has made none.

"We hit the woodwork and missed a couple of glorious opportunities and if they go in it is a different game but we didn't hit the target once and that is unlike us this season so that is disappointing

"But we live to fight another day and hopefully we will play a bit better when we play them at home."

Stanley almost got a dream start when Kayden Jackson spurned a golden chance inside the first minute but the hosts carried a threat of their own with Reds stopper Aaron Chapman making several important saves and Coleman felt a draw was a fair result.

On Jackson's chance the Reds boss said: "A striker of Kayden's quality you expect to take that chance. He was a willing runner and he did exploit the space they gave us but we couldn't get the run of the ball.

"We would liked to have pass the ball a bit better and I don't think that was a strong point of our game.

"We could have gone under but we have defended well this season and we have to keep that going. It is another clean sheet for Aaron (Chapman) which is a great bonus for him and we have to put this behind us now and concentrate on the next couple of the weeks and the games we have ahead of us."
