A SCHOOL is holding an open evening this month.

Alder Grange’s sixth form, on Calder Road, Rawtenstall will be welcoming prospective students to its open evening on Thursday November 16 from 6.30pm.

During the evening visitors will have the chance to find out more about both A-Level and vocational courses.

This year students at the Sixth Form, which opened in 2010, achieved 100 per cent pass rate in 19 subjects.

Joanna Griffiths Head of School said: “We offer a strong blend of A-Level and vocational qualifications which students enjoy.

"We also pride ourselves on small class sizes and the individual support we offer to students."

The evening will start with a talk from Head of School Jo Griffiths and Head of Sixth Form Dawn Luszczak.

A Year 11 Sixth Form taster day will then be held on Friday November 17 from 9am to 3.30pm.
