A REMEMBRANCE service to honor those who died during conflict is to be held next week.
The event will take place at the Peace Garden opposite Burnley Central Library on Sunday, November 12.
Right reverend Philip North, father Roger Parker, and father Peter Hopkinson will conduct the service.
A parade of uniformed groups led by the 4th Battalion of the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment will take place.
There will be some temporary road closures from 10am to 12pm.
St James’s Street from its junction with Curzon Street to Manchester Road will be closed.
Manchester Road from its junction with Red Lion Street, Red Lion Street from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Parker Lane and Parker Lane from its junction with Red Lion Street to its junction with Grimshaw Street will be closed.
