A 37-year-old Oswaldtwistle man emptied the contents of the fridge over the kitchen floor during a "domestic" with his partner.
Hyndburn magistrates heard she then threw a glass at Anthony Power but in the process slipped on the fridge debris before storming out of the house.
Power, of Moscow Mill Street, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in £150 to keep the peace for six months.
Graham Parkinson, defending, said there had been a further incident since when Power's partner threw a hammer at him which bounced of his head.
