THERE’S some spooky goings on this weekend as revellers gear up to celebrate Hallowe'en.

Accrington businesses are getting together to put on its first-ever Trick or Treat week.

Accrington and Rossendale College and estate agents Duckworths have organised the event and have partnered with more than 20 businesses in the town to encourage children to get out and about during half-term.

And the college have embraced the spooky spirit by allowing students to show off their make-up skills on council leader Miles Parkinson and assistant prinicpal Charlotte Scheffman.
