TWO friends who are on a mission to raise thousands of pounds for Pendleside Hospice are completing their latest task - a 24 hour sing-a-thon.
Josh Hindle, 26, from Barrowford, and David Smith, 31, from Nelson, are completing a challenge, randomly selected by the public, every month this year in honour of relatives who spent time at the hospice.
Previously the pair completed a half marathon wearing 10kg vests and trekked along Hadrian's Wall.
With the help of friends, they are entertaining shoppers at Tesco in Burnley with a sing-a-thon which started at 10am on Sunday and will end at 8pm on Monday with break when the Centenary Way store shut overnight.
Mr Smith said: "We have had a really good reaction from the customers with lots of cheers and donations."
The pair have raised around £5,000 so far. To donate visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/joshanddavidchallenge.
