A CHARITY is launching its Christmas Wishes appeal.
The annual campaign run by Charities@SAMS aims to give a gift to the most disadvantaged individuals in Lancashire.
Charity bosses are calling on people and employers to buy an extra present this year.
They are looking for donations of festive chocolate, toys, gifts and money to distribute to vulnerable children, teens and families.
Helen Smith, project co-ordinator, said: "Please buy an extra gift this year, drop it off at the ‘Ask Me’ point in Blackburn Mall or find us on Facebook for other local drop off points.
"Your gift may go to a child living in care, a young person living in a hostel, or a homeless person who has dropped into a day centre on Christmas Day. It will make a massive difference."
The drop-off deadline is Friday, December 8. Phone 01254 291287.
