A SERIES of charity road runs that attract tens of thousands of runners every year including in Burnley has been handed a major boost.
Asda Foundation and Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All are to extend their partnership for the next three years.
The Foundation already supports Run For All’s popular 10K series and will further extend this to include marathons and half marathons.
The events are part of the lasting legacy of the late Jane Tomlinson CBE who raised £1.85m for children’s and cancer charities before her untimely death from cancer aged just 43 in 2007.
Mike Tomlinson, Run For All chief executive officer, said: “Thanks to their support we have been able to develop and expand our 10Ks and I’m sure that with this extended sponsorship, Run For All events will continue to go from strength to strength.”
