A WEBSITE featuring a directory of health services for residents is now live.

The website, which has been co-produced with people in the community in Hyndburn, provides people with links to services including mental health and dental services.

It will also be able to support the GP care navigators who can identify relevant services to signpost patients to.

Care Navigation is a new scheme being piloted in Hyndburn to help support and guide patients to access the most appropriate service for their needs.

Dr Richard Robinson, GP clinical lead for Hyndburn at East Lancashire CCG said: “The Real Hyndburn website is a useful additional resource to support the self-care needs of people in Hyndburn.

“As a GP, I see patients who could benefit from the information on the website and who don’t necessarily need to see a GP.

“What’s really great about this website is that it’s developed for the community by the community.”

It was funded by NHS East Lancashire CCG and created by REAL (Rossendale Enterprise Anchor Limited) who is involved in developing organisations and services that support the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sectors (VCFS).
