A 27-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with a number of assaults on members of the same family at a Christening.
Joseph Andrew St Jean, from Higher Croft, is charged with wounding Leanne Shannon and Lara Shannon with intent to cause them grievous bodily harm, assaulting Christoper Shannon and assaulting Margarite Shannon.
He was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court where he will appear on November 20.
